Metson Marine was established in 1984 to provide ocean transportation, vessel operations, and ocean environmental services. Over the last 35 years the company has expanded its business to both commercial and government contracting.
Geographic locations in which Metson operated include the U.S East, Gulf & West Coasts, Alaska and Hawaii. The Corporate Office is located in Southern California (Ventura) and its Regional Boat Maintenance Center in Kingsland Georgia.
Metson owns and/or operates a diverse fleet of vessels and provides a wide spectrum of
maritime services to both commercial and Government clients. Vessel Operation and

Management and Quality and Safety Management form the core of our expertise. Present
and past performance for commercial and DOD contracts include support of development,
testing & evaluation programs, diving and ROV support, range support, oil spill response (FRT), training support and vessel overhauls, conversions and alterations.
SHIP MANAGEMENT, OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Since 1997, MMSI has operated and maintained a diverse fleet of Government owned ships, vessels and small craft.
WORK BOAT & SPECIAL MISSION VESSEL OPERATIONS
Since 1984 the Metson Companies have owned and/or operated a fleet of work boats, including Platform Support, Crew Boats, Oil Spill Response, Diving & ROV Support, Ocean Survey and other Special Missions.
PORTS & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
MMSI manages and operates several U.S. Navy Ports and Facilities, including its own Regional Boat Maintenance Center in Georgia.

MMSI’s core competencies include vessel mobilizations, alterations, conversions, overhauls and support of RDT&E range services, diving & special mission support and waterborne oil spill (FRT)response.

Metson Marine operates and maintains a fleet of over 120 small craft including FRT, security craft,barrier boats and other port operation and special mission craft on Naval Installations including MMSI’s Regional Boat Maintenance Center.
